Fair Housing Statement

The policy of the Management Agent and Owner is one of equal opportunity and non-discrimination in compliance with all Civil Rights legislation, including , but not limited to, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, The Federal Fair Housing Act, Executive Order 11063, the state Human Rights Act, other local fair housing laws, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, The Age Discrimination Act of 1975 and affirmative fair housing marketing requirements applicable to the housing program.

 

Applicants and residents will not be denied services or treated differently on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, age, physical or mental handicap, receipt of public assistance, familial status, marital status or sexual orientation.

 

The Management Agent will alter or eliminate situations or procedures that create a barrier to equal housing opportunity. In accordance with Section 504, reasonable accommodations will be made (including physical changes or procedural changes) to permit individuals with disabilities to have full advantage of the housing program. Persons requesting a reasonable accommodation will be required to make a request and have the need for the change verified. When changes are made, the following entity will have payment responsibility.
